DIY Eucalyptus Tea Tree Bath Soak

Materials

  • 1 cup Epsom salt
  • 2 tsp (9g) coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup (144g) baking soda
  • 7-8 drops eucalyptus essential oil
  • 7-8 drops lavender essential oil
  • 4-5 drops tea tree essential oil

Instructions

  • Combine your Epsom salt, baking soda and coconut oil (not melted) in a small mixing bowl.
  • Once all ingredients are fully combined, add in your essential oils and mix until combined throughout.
  • Lastly, add in your soap colorant until you have the color you want. We used a teal color that came with our set of soap colorants (linked here). Feel free to color it any color you wish.
  • Measure out into little mason jars or square jars with a hinge lid to give as cute gifts for your friends this winter. Or, fill some up for yourself and simply leave next to your bathroom or shower for easy access for when you need it.
  • When you are ready to use it, pour about 1/2 cup (or more if desired) of the bath soak under warm running water. Soak for at least 20-30 minutes to let the vapors help clear out your sinuses, and allow the Epsom salt to soothe any sore muscles.
