  • 1/4 cup (61g) nonfat plain greek yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp (11g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 Tbsp (11g) dark cocoa powder

Instructions

Make your Brownies

  • Preheat your oven to 300 degrees.
  • Prep an 8×8 or 9×9 inch aluminum pan with nonstick spray.l, and set aside.
  • Prep two large mixing bowls. In one, combine your dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. In the second bowl, whisk together your eggs, oil, syrup, yogurt, and vanilla until smooth.
  • Pour your dry ingredients into your wet ingredients a little at a time and mix until incorporated. Don’t overmix.
  • Pour you batter into your greased pan and spread.
  • Bake for 15-18 minutes. You want these fudgy so don’t overbake. They won’t look completely ready but they will firm up as they cool.
  • Let the brownies sit for 8-10 hours or overnight to cool completely and firm up.

Make your frosting

  • Microwave your chocolate chips on high for 20-30 seconds. Stir and repeat until fully melted.
  • Once completely melted, add in the almond milk, yogurt, and powders. Stir until smooth.
  • Spread on top of your cooled brownies.
